I recogn it will be officially announced at 15200-15300. The club are hoping for (and have often quoted) 15500 BUT they will have to convince the safety board. The current 13026+1200standing+800 seats (which I belive was in the original application = 15026...plus get some of the "lost" original capacity back

Was the original capacity about 14.5k which then reduced to 13k?

From memory: 14,206 reduced to 13,024. Regarding the new capacity, Andy Gatcliffe stated in yesterday's Guardian that he is expecting it to be around 15,500, subject to verification from safety officials.

Final figure will be known by end of today. Safety officials must confirm before Sunday and they wont work on a weekend!

Apparently the stadium is now capable of holding 15,600 if every space on the terraces could be filled. But due to the difficulty in achieving that (as seen at the first game back in 2004!) the new official capacity has been set at 15,000.

So potentially Saints at the end of March will be our first 15,000 attendance at the HJ.
