Nevertheless, amongst all of this adversity Rovers stood tall and put in an outstanding defensive display. We are going to need this mentality next week against Saints, but lets enjoy this rare victory at Belle Vue. Two points in the bank and the monkey off Sandy's back lol!
Congrats on the win - first class defending, coupled with your pack tearing it up the middle saw you worthy winners.
But have to admit that I agreed with the Sinbinning, clearly a pro foul - but in the end didn't really cost you.
Well played KR, deserved it for a fantastic defensive effort, We just weren't clinical enough to beat you when we had the chance. Good support, good fans, apart from the woman who told me to 'treasure ben cockayne, he is what coke is to crack' , I reckon there was about 1.5k there today. Better side won on the day, good luck for the rest of the season.

Mr Cummings will not say anything about the alleged off the ball incident as it is a disciplinary issue. He will say that the sin binning was completely correct as the delay of a 20 metre restart is an automatic sin binning and anyone knowing the laws would know this.

Only Taylor will know if it was a cynical foul, it looked as if he didn't hear the whistle, I clearly heard it from the other end of the ground so for me it was correct for him to get ten minutes.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Stand outs were (1) Clinton (2) Josh Hodgson (3) Conn Mika. Nobody really "could do better" (apart from Robert Hicks, but that's a whole new story), it was a brutal defensive effort that could not have suceeded if they all hadn't worked for each other.

Withers went well, looks sharp and plays with a bit of intelligence, he'll prove to be a good acquisition. Mika looked dangerous, powerful and looking to offload or draw a man. Went for a massive hit in the first half, hilariously missed by miles and ended up giving Paea a big cuddle. Clinton was like the Clinton of old. Mature display from Josh Hodgson, good scoots out of dummy half and is deceptively strong. Webster took the ball up with vigour and defended well.
Welhams defence is still an issue, dropping off tackles and missing. Really not sure about McDonnell so far, he'll no doubt benefit from a firmer pitch going forward but his defence, particularly one on one looks suspect. Cox still looks like he hasn't got over being battered from pillar to post by Catalans in last years play off mauling. No real issue at his age.

Bentham should have gone for 10 at the Leeds game then, he clearly delayed our 20m re-start and lost us the advantage.
