The Ultras must be excitable if they thought we were going to lose to London.
You'd have thought the time would be better spent tagging the front window of Pound Bakery in Wigan town centre or getting some stickers printed for their invasion of Bradford next week.

Come on, lets be fair - Mr Clarke does really know his stuff though - I mean, he did say on Saturday nights commentary that he didn't think that anyone would be scoring 40+ points at this stage of the season - he was spot on with that one again!

I bet they involved your laptop still though, possibly aided and abetted by a handful of tissue paper.
Me: I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
knockersbumpMKII: Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm

I dont have the words to describe Phil Clarke......really I dont
I have loads of offensive swearing type words but they just don't do him justice.
is it time we banned his name and all talk of him from this site? ...he offers nothing in the way of valuable insight into the game which is absolutely stunning considering his acheivements in the game in both hemispheres...
he is neither funny, witty, interesting, or informed.....we are more likely to get sensible impartial rugby League comments from his stool...... and I dont mean his chair either...

The clarke-o-meter is predicting Phil Clarke will have said 0 thing of any consequence by the end of the season...and that is backed up by the stats of the past 12 years. FACT.

Phil Clarke's problem, and it's quickly becoming a problem on a lot of the SL coverage, is he seems so obsessed with saying something different, that what he's actually saying is becoming ridiculous. Every time I watch SL, it seems that all of the lads who are on take their turn at saying something different, something 'outside of the box', but so often it's just BS that most laugh off as nonsense. Clarke seems to be the leader in this, his banging on about his margin meter being his latest in a line of sheer idiotic drivel.

Agreed. When he just concentrates on the game, hes very good. It's easy to forget how good a player he was and how much more he knows than the average fan. But when he starts going on about 'Rugby Gods' and Saints scoring tries in twos like assassins shoot bullets close together he doesn't so much lose the plot as bury it under the patio*
