There is a train that runs from barcelona to perpignan I used it twice in 2008.
Parry Gordon's passes,Les Boyd's strong runs,Mike Gregory's workrate,Des Drummond's tries,Jonathan Davies' sheer genius...........oh,and Alan Rathbone's punches! All memories of the legendary venue which was Wilderspool stadium. Gone maybe,but never,ever forgotten.

Will be arriving in Perpignan on Thursday 17th June. I see that France's world cup game is on that evening, against Mexico, and it would be great to watch it in a French bar with loads of locals. Where would be best/safest place to watch it in Perpignan?

Saturday 18th August Catalans v Leeds Rhinos.
Wondering if someone could give me a bit of advice regarding the above fixture. I'm looking to book as soon as possible.
What will the weather be like at that time of year? Seen as though this is my first time coming across this part of France I'm a bit confused by it all. What's the best possible route of doing this?

When you say 'what route' do you mean by air, rail, road? Flights into Perpignan, Girona, Carcassonne and transferring with our good friends at Catalan Sport Tours are all plans (memo to self: check that Dave picks up in Carca)

You can fly Doncaster or Manchester to Girona with Ryanair. There's a direct bus from Girona airport to Perpignan.
