John Tortorella is going to be part of the ASG at the end of the month. Fair play to him, I had my doubts when he took over but he has certainly showed me this season. Long way to go yet though, but we are in a tremendous position at the moment.

I was chatting to my mate (A Rangers Fan) the other day about who we think will get to the conference final from the east, i honestly think the way the bruins and rangers are playing it will without a doubt be them 2 to contest it, if they dont meet on the way of course which they shouldn't if they stay in their respective positions.

ATM i just cant see any team from the east beating either team over 7 games

I never used to like Tortorella but having watched the hbo nhl 24/7 series about the winter classic i've changed my mind about him,he came across well in the series and I was impressed with his pre and post game speeches to the players in the locker rooms.

Chicago finally got back to winning ways last night after losing the last 4 games.In years gone by I had got used to them losing bunches of games in a row while they were losing the Blues jumped above them in the division but I still think it'll be us against the Wings for the top spot by the end of the regular season.

Hawks beat the Sabres 6-2 last night to go back to the top of the division.With Sharp injured they needed someone to step up and it's been 2 rookies Shaw and Hayes that have been scoring the goals needed to replace Sharps goals.

Chicago continue going up and down the division as they move back to the top 1 day after slipping to 3rd.The next 2 months are going to be good with the Hawks,Red Wings and the Blues battling for the top spot with Nashville not far behind.

The all-star game break has come a the right time for the Hawks as Toews has joined Sharp on the injured list.There's now just 3 points from 1st to 4th place in the division.

The Hawks got their injured players back last night but lost to the Canucks in OT.Down to 6th in the Conference now but not likely to drop out of the playoffs as they're well ahead of the 9th place team.

6 defeats in a row now for the Blackhawks,they need to start winning soon as the lead over the 9th place team is down to 7 points.
