Just been looking at stats on the superleague site and seen lovegrove was top tackler in round 1 with 58, but he only carried the ball 6 times. Wonder if this is tactical and your new coach wants a 13 to do plenty of tackling so doesn't use him much in attack to conserve energy?

So Lovegroves defending at 13 and attacking at 2 and Halls 2 and 6.

Does that mean Murrell is 6 and 13?

Yes basically its Hall and Lovegrove swapping between attack and defence, with Murrell at looseman.
Lovegrove's pretty quick and a big unit so could do well from 10 yards out.
