It has been said by Directors, Coaches and Players that the fans at Craven Park are the most important thing to the club, the Club logo states "The Pride of East Hull" and Hull KR are marketed as a Community Club at the heart of East Hull. So were does this all fit in if the team moves to the KC in WEST Hull ? No fans, no pride and no community. I've been supporting Rovers since the mid 60's and I won't be going to the KC and many others will feel the same way.
HULL KR are the Pride of East Hull and bigger then any one individual, you either except it or leave !!!!!
Reading the article in the HDM, it reminded me of Mr Allams "well move to Melton" rant. The guy from the council sounded very commuted to making the north stand happen

Our Board will only move the Club to the KC as a last resort if our ground improvements dont come to fruition. It is not financially viable to continue at this level of rugby with the current facilities at Craven Park. Would you rather the Board withdraw their backing and allow the Club to die a painful death at Craven Park?

Do we even have "The Pride Of East Hull" thing anymore?
Personally, I don't care where we play, as long as it's in red and white and we're called Hull Kingston Rovers.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Same here, even though i would much prefer to stay in East Hull, i would much rather have a team that was able to challenge for honours in the future, to do that the club needs to be on a viable footing financialy. As things stand at present with a reduced capacity stadium and facilities not up to scratch that is less likely to happen, so if it came to a choice of either, having a good sound future but having to move to achieve it, or staying put in a stadium that might not get a new licence when they come up for renewal as a result of not been up to scratch, then for me its a no brainer. Anyway, hopefuly it will not come to that and the meeting between Neil Hudgell and the council tommorow, will be possitive and they find a way of resolving the issue once and for all.
You know what, i cant even believe ANY of you lot are even toying with the idea after the abuse and drivel you gave us for moving there! At least the the stadium is in the right half of the city for us, to imagine FC being based in East Hull for me is unthinkable and i could NEVER bring myself to share a ground with you lot, never! Besides there is nowhere for you lot to tether your horses so jog on, redevelop, or just simply bomb that dump you call home, i don't care which and keep your two bob run by a nutter club in East Hull. Thank-you and goodnight!!!
