Article this morning in the Newcastle Hearald saying Hull KR players David and Simon Wilson have signed with Port Stephens Sharks, and implying Sandercock might be involved.

If they are any good they will be asked to play in the trial match next Friday and could earn a spot in the Knights reserve grade side. Seems unlikely though.

Dave played a few games for us in the National League back in 2006, including our Grand Final win that got us into Super League. After a few games in reserve grade in 2007 drifted back into the amateur game and country rugby over in Australia. Had a few shoulder injuries.
Never heard of Simon Wilson.

Don't think it implys Sandercock was involved just states they have played for Rovers in the past and explaining that the Knights former assistant is now coaching us. Dave has been in Aus for a while now playing and I believe getting regular MOTM awards.

We're coming to make some noise!

They should get the wooden spoon again.
Bit sad to see a 100 year old club in their death throws. (formerly North Newcastle - one of the 1910 foundation clubs)
