This season will be my first season of having a season ticket. After flicking through the booklet I was wondering what certain tickets are. It's obvious that the tickets with match 1 - 13 on are for the regular season home games. But what is the reserve my ticket 2012 for? Also, what are the 14 - 21 special voucher 2012 tickets for? And what is the Transfer/Upgrades slip in the back?

And finally, if ever I can't make a match (God forbid) then can I give it to a friend without worrying about us getting caught out?

The 14 to 21 special vouchers are for use when the club have cup tickets and/or playoff/finals tickets. Season ticket holders get first access to them ans will surrender these special vouchers.

As for letting your mate use them, the club started last year to insist that you have to produce the full booklet to get in the ground not just that games ticket. I did hear, but havent seen it that student tickets will actually also have photo ID linked to them to avoid adults using student tickets to get in.

I belive that the transfer upgrade tickets allow for season ticket holders to change their ticket for the other parts of the ground on a number of occassions (eg:- a south stand ticket holder might want to pay extra to sit down in the North Satnd at one of the sell-out games)

Yeh you would have to pass your whole book to your friend for them to get in, so make sure its someone you trust to give it back if you do! Noticed that 'no book, no entry' signs have poped up arround the ground now so guess thier really going to enforce this now.

Been in the soulth for since I've had a season ticket but am seated in the NE quadrant now - hoping you can 'downgrade' your ticket also so can go in with my former season ticket holding friends once in a while, when they can actually be arsed to make the effort (and I do hope some of them read this )

That's correct (My son has one).

They were there last season. I believe they will be adopting the "remove the voucher in the queue, hand it in and show your booklet at the turnstile approach". After a couple of weeks of various systems being told to the staff, this is the one that they appeared to adopt for the rest of the season.
