WTF is going on Bradford have sold Odsal to the RFL and are renting it back off them ! Isn't that a conflict of interest of the RFL ? Would they do it to another club that's outside Yorkshire ? Seem to remember the RFL cutting Widnes loose and hanging them out to dry when they had problems ! Also seem to remember them telling us get a new stadium or your out of SL yet Wakey n Cas stadiums are still worse than Wilderspool ! Maybe I'm looking at it wrong but it all seems very Yorkshire bias ! Unless it's Wigan that is !

Yes, your initial rant shows that you probably are getting it wrong. The RFL has bought Odsal and will now rent it back to Bradford. Don't shout and scream until you know the full facts (which none of us do yet). Some weeks ago there was a thread about the RFL buying its own stadium, most were in favour, but thought that financially it wouldn't happen. Did you know that Bradford is not the only ground in the RFL's portfolio? Finally, is there any real need to swear on line?

Get it right Bradord bulls dont own Odsal,The RFL has purchased the leashold on Odsal .Bradford Bulls were paying a pepercorn rent to bradford council ,so now they will be paying a market value rent to the RFL .So that means the next to nowt rent they paid to Bradford city council, will in reality become considerably more

Wakefield board has gone into meltdown. Bradford board have mostly already decided this means they're much better off financially. Not much basis for either view at this stage. As set out above- devil is in the detail.
Me: I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
knockersbumpMKII: Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm
one of the reasons bradford arent competitive any more is down to the fact they spend an absolute fortune maintaining Odsal. Cash that should be spent on the type of players they used to enjoy is going on that relic. If they are decreasing this liability, i.e. passing it on to the RFL, surely this isnt right and is a conflict of interests?? Someone should get a Freedom of Information request in!

Why would that help? FOIA requests only apply to public bodies. Neither the RFL or Bradford Bulls are.

Mick Gledhill is saying on that other forum he is sworn to confidentiality for a week, but then all will be revealed, but the RFL said they have no immediate plans to redevelop the stadium, but if in the future they do have aspirations to develop it into the RL NATIONAL STADIUM that would be wonderful, but how on earth could the RFL generate that kind of finance?Like Gledhill said all will be revealed soon .Very interesting

Who is to say that the RFL are paying for the maintenance? It is specific to the terms of the lease agreement.
Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.
