Tbf, these are injuries that can be covered. As bad as it sounds, Rovers are lucky that the most serious injury came to Beaumont who was unlikely to figure much. Galea if he is out for a month could only miss two games and with Carlile and Withers to cover the hooking role we can probably live without Hodgson for a couple of weeks. Unlucky to get these injuries but today's positives outweigh the negatives.

A good run out, friendlies are a nessecary evil, but as someone has said, you could get these injuries in the first SL game, nice to win, but the combinations and fitness are more important I guess

We could have picked up those injuries against anyone, so we might as well play a derby. 50% (after SMC expenses) of a 14,000 gate means Hudge probably pocketed 50-70K for the club. Considering there were about 3,000 of us, that's plenty of Black & White cash in Hudgell's pocket! That's gotta hurt!

Felt sorry for Hally, had a brilliant game and was responsible for 3x the number of tries for us compared to the 1 he was badly at fault for. He has been like a new signing since August.

and if we do play our home game at the kc it will be more money bring it on
JOHN THE REDBOY I have been a rovers fan all my life and my grandkids are as well
the injuries were obviously the downside of today, but one of the major upsides was Craig Hall's performance, aside from his mistake obviously. I thought he was excellent!!
A good run out for both sides, I thought the new lad at hooker for us did a steady job when he came on. I also think they seemed to play at a lot quicker place than last year?
