Hi Guys

I am a Charity Rugby league coach from Halifax and i am auctioning off old rugby rugby kits and other bits and pieces to raise money for a new kit for our Charity RL team.

We are Currently £290 short of our target to buy a kit.
I am asking whether anybody would be willing to donate old rugby Clothing to help our Charity, or even some money towards our kit.

We have now set up a paypal account for all donations to be sent to - whether it is just £1 or £100 every little bit will help us.
All donations can be sent via paypal to braintumorresearch@hotmail.co.uk.

We are also auctioning off Vouchers for Tickets to watch Huddersfield Giants in 2012 (2 Adults), Oldham Roughyeds before May 1st (2 Adults/Children), and Halifax RLFC in 2012 (Family Voucher 4 adults & (upto) 4 Children).

Can anybody willing to donate please either leave a reply on here or pm me.

Many Thanks

I feel safer in the knowledge that donations are no longer sent to a Texas Hold'em poker email address, although, don't you have more information? Do people fall for this?

We have started a Charity Rugby League Team who play thier games at Spring Rocks, Halifax. To help raise money for Brain Tumor Research and support across Yorkshire.

When we Started the Team The charity was previously known as Andrea's Gift and we played under the Alias - Andrea's Gift CRLFC.

Since Changing the name of the Charity we have been playing incorporated into local Amateur side Greetland Allrounders.

Brain Tumour Research and Support across Yorkshire aims to provide a network of support across Yorkshire for brain tumour patients and their families.

In 2003 Andrea’s Gift registered as a charity with the sole aim of funding research and providing improved patient support for anyone affected by a brain tumour in Yorkshire. The charity changed its name from Andrea's Gift to BTRS in 2011 as the charity trustees believed this change would help us to connect more easily with patients and their families, medics and nurses in Yorkshire.

2011 saw the charity open Yorkshire’s first brain tumour research lab, based at the Leeds Institute for Molecular Medicine, supporting a high-level research team who work on long-term paediatric and adult brain tumour research projects. The project is co-funded with children's cancer charity Candlelighters.

Nationally, less than 1% of all the funds raised for research into cancer is devoted to brain tumour research, yet brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of our children and more people under the age of 40 die from brain tumours than from any other cancer.

Registered Charity number - 1095931

Where would I take\send my old shirts?

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Just to clarify, is it a team kit you're after or old replicas that you're going to auction or something?
