I agree the members of 1873 would like to know what changes/benefits 1873 is making to the Club but we have to remember 1873 is still in its infancy and we have to let the Management run the Club as they see fit but we will raise the issue.
Thanks, i'm not suggesting that nothings been improved and we all understand it takes time, just think it would be right and proper to let the fans know how the moneys been spent.
It's a shame a couple more lads aren't going especially for team building purposes and morale.
Agar must be honest and straight forward with some of the younger lads, and make use of Dual Registration to enable them to develop if he believes they're not to be in his plans for the season.
He can't please everyone, but he can give them the best opportunity to progress as an individual and to possibly come back into the frame at a later date.

Gareth Moores been carrying a leg injury and has only done about 50% of the training sessions that the others have. Far from being ostracised from the club he's been well looked after by the physios and has been told straight where he needs to be better if he's to have a chance of becoming a 1st team regular. He's not going to France for a number of reasons but his place in the pecking order and his injury are the two main ones.

To clarify:
There are 32 people travelling in total. The ones who are going are mainly those who will feature in the game at the end of the week.
It is not unusual for a club not to take ALL it's players.
We have also had the 3 day trip to North Wales, and that did include the younger players, so we are not doing too badly in that respect.
As SC says, we will have some dialogue with the club with a view to getting some details of the Junior set up presented at some point - there is certainly no attempt to hide anything and, if asked, the club will explain the situation - so we're asking.

Gareth Moore aside, as a generalisation we've struggled to consistently move players up from our academy. If the likes of Davey, Annekin, Spiers, Slater etc etc aren't to feature then fair enough. But let them get regular first team rugby elsewhere and utilise the Dual Reg. It seems to work for other clubs and i'm sure it'd help develop those individuals on the fringes of our squad

It all depends on what level they're at, they may have been judged to be at a stage where they're better off under the guidance of the club on a day to day basis.
Dual reg is right for some players and not for others, it's a good thing for a player when entered into at the correct point of their development.
For some of our more prominent juniors it might be too late, maybe they've missed the boat while under the Kear regime and now it's felt that they'd progress better under the guidance of our in house coaching and conditioning.
Whatever, the thing is that it's subjective and in our case it's the collective opinions of our coaching team that decides what's best.

If there's only room for 32, someone can't go, because the coaching staff have to be there, along with conditioner and physio or whatever. Those that don't go, let's see how they respond. Maybe it will separate those who really want it from those who don't. And let's face it, if we start picking people from outside our main 23, we have real injury problems.
EVENTUALLY, WE'LL WIN SOMETHING, ,MAYBE, IF I'M STILL ALIVE THEN

Looks a good decision from Agar as the player states he wasnt ready last season sound a bit like some of our players last season we wanted to see them but JK didnt play them obviously not ready, I am no coach so I will leave it to RA
