As too which game to lose i would go for the Waky away game in the league.is that ok ?
You have to be careful with this "each team must nominate a game they are going to lose" rule that the RFL have introduced for this season.
It introduces an interesting new tactical element to the season, at first glance most people would think we'll choose to lose a game against a club not expected to do well, Wakey, Salford, Widnes say. But then before you know it those teams are in a play off position after picking up 4 or 5 wins due to the "you can't win 'em all rule"
I think we might be better opting to lose against Cas away to avoid any of the lower ranked teams picking up enough bonus wins to be in competition with us. Of course if everyone thinks like that then the middling teams Cas/Bradford/Hull/Rovers might be in with a shout for the league leaders trophy.
I'd be interested to know the thoughts of our new coach, he's been consipuously quiet on this subject! Perhaps planning to throw a curve ball?
Hopefully we're not going to see reciprocal "we'll lose against you if you lose against us" agreements, because that's clearly not in the spirit of the rule.
