Congratulations to all on calendar-monthly salaries, I hope your employers are truly appreciative of you giving your labour free, gratis and for nothing on 29 February. Obviously this doesn't affect those on lunar-monthly salaries or those paid weekly/fortnightly.

I wonder if we'll have a statement at PMQs congratulating the workers of this country for doing their bit in these hard times?

It's every four years though. Given an average working life of forty years, that's a fortnight's holiday you've given back to the gaffer
