You said nothing of the kind

I don't feel stupid at all. Tricked maybe. If you want to play silly games, feel free ... but people like to see what you've written or at least have an inkling that you have written something in addition that is immediately visible. Not hidden or partially hidden in some way. Still if it bloats your ego ... well done. I'll press quote for all your posts from now on then shall I, just in case?

I doubt that. Though I don't discount it.

"Tricked"? Idiot. How can I trick you, when I would have no clue you would even read it, let alone reply?

I thought that the comments I made were plainly obvious irony, and am sure most "got it". If you hadn't been so keen to jump down my throat with some perceived chance of derisively scoring some point, I'm sure you'd have got it too, but hey ho.
It would spoil the OP to end it with an explanatory nudge for the stupid or the exciteable, and the sole reason I added an invisible one was just because it's tiresome when the occasional axe-grinder nevertheless misses the irony, in their rush to score what they gleefully believe to be a clever point, and subsequently equally tiresomely (but sadly predictably) maintains that it was never intended as ironic in the first place. A precaution, if you like.

Do you whatever you like old boy, but perhaps it might be wise to just do that before casting smart-ass barbs like you thought you did in my direction:-

You showed yourself up. Deal with it.

I went on what you wrote that was visible. Why wouldn't I?, I wasn't alone. You don't usually do comedy or irony ... my mistake. And I have dealt with it.
