Not expecting to see many front line players but looking forward to the game. Fev are the best side outside of Super League so will represent a big step up for many of the lads who will be in our side. I wouldnt think Dobson or Green will play so it will be interesting to see who plays in the halves. Bell will play i would imagine but will we see another youngster like Beharrall or Hardcastle alongside him or will Sandercock consider a positional switch for a current first teamer with a view to covering during the season if needed?

I actually thought we would see a lot of the first team players in this game. The type of game when we played Batley a few years ago were everyone pretty much played a part in the game with unlimited subs to give all the players some game time.

Yes, we could see most of the players given a bit of game-time to blow the cobwebs off. I just cant see Sandercock expecting his "stars" to play 3 friendlies in 3 weeks, unless i suppose his new game patterns are that different to Justins and he thinks that the players need game time to adjust. I would deffo expect to see Clinton and Carlisle after their long lay off.

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Only allowed to take 6 Aussies over the border into Fev plus they couldn't fit in the fish van
Excellent news that the new regime is keeping the mighty Fish Van.

I figure Sandercock will want to see how deep the new structures have become embedded, which is why I think we will see a strong line-up in the first half and then wholesale changes in the 2nd half.
The first trial game might even give an inkling about who is 'in' and who isn't 'in' re the first half formation.

Hope to go, can't wait to see our new players in action.
