Im sure most of the 6000 would be picked up in person b4 the 1st game but for outta towners and those who couldnt organise to pick it up(8 weeks from buying to 1st game)on the day would be ok. Can you not remember the 1st few games with the new system?

Seems to me an overly complicated communication mechanic here. There don't appear to be official minutes (assuming the meeting is chaired by the club). Roverstrace writes her own minutes down, which she is not obliged to do. Some people see them, if they have access to the unofficial forum. Easty then agrees to act as a go between for Roverstrace's unofficial minutes and the people who use RLfans. Would it not just make sense to post the official minutes on the website, then no one could complain they didn't know what was going on? Seems to be very emotive, when all it is is some fans giving up their time for free and giving input on things that they would like to see changed.
Suppose it depends how the steering group is meant to work, is it a fans comitee which is there for the fans to have a voice and input into the way the club is being run and almost a mini (selective) fans forum or is it a focus group used by the club to gauge fan feeling and to bounce ideas off. I personally think its the latter and the fans forums are the mechanism for genuine airing of views by the fan base. I agree the minutes would be a good read for the fans but I do believe this would then make the steering group members into a fans representative which is not what they signed up for. The original request was just for cross section of fans who would attend.

I'm FC Voices disabled representative. We have a 24 hour "hotline" and a dedicated email address. Our chairman also does a regular piece in the programme and we have a page on the clubs official website.
Mrs B is correct, we organise the fans forums, we recently organised the very succesful Heritage Day and (sometimes!) we are consulted by the club regarding surveys.
We have regular meetings with different departments of the club like the retail manager, until recently the Chief Exec , the EMC the SMC and the media manager.
PM me if you'd like anymore details, happy to help

after reading the minutes i got the impression the club seemed to be picking peoples brains to come up with money making ideas and nothing more but then i may be over sceptical

Posting this about oneself could fall into that bracket, potentially : "Really impressed with Mike's passion for the Club and his delivery of answers was first class." )
You're welcome. Really impressed with Mrs Barista's research, BTW, her response to Sandra the Terrorist's rather vague opening gambit was smashing.
well mrs B as with any rugby league club they should never have to nor Justify our committees or our club as a whole that exist to another club. I have never wanted to know what hull fc are up too as I dont see it as any of my business. I am therefore asking you why you want to know whats going in ours?. So unless a miracle has happenend and you have switched sides I fail to see why hull kr should have to justify oursleves and what we do to you or hull fc!. I would have thought you have plenty going on at the kc to keep you entertained.
