Really? What he said was:
"this is the first time club officials have been found to be guilty in relation to a player's offending." Can't actually see a mention of cover-up there, but it would be convenient to interpret what he said in the way you describe it.

Gosh, we're off topic now, aren't we? Soon be lockage time, I suppose, since the thread has been dragged into a scandal at another club. R.B.A. was quick on the lock button on MrPhilb's humorous Gleeson thread on here, but then again he's spent most of the last 48 hours on FC's board lapping it all up. A one-stop shop for Rovers fans this week. :wink: :lol:

Im cancelling sky coz after 8 hrs at work i come home and it takes me ages reading the fc forum,no time for TV ! Doing me head in but what fun !

. . .but it didnt result in a ban for the conditioner so hardly comparable IMO.

Good for you, and convenient too. Cunningham escaped a ban despite testing positive for HCG on the basis the substance was administered to him without his knowledge by a guy on Saints payroll. Not comparable, agreed, I'd say it was worse in the case of the conditioner. Cooper was an incompetent @rse for not checking, the Saints guy administered a drug (typically used after a cycle of anabolic steroids) to Cunningham without his knowledge.
