Office is closed , staff on holiday.

Hope we get the answer most of us want re Paul Cooke early next week . Earlier the better !

I agree there, the earlier that we get the news the better (and hopefully positive news at that).

League Weekly quotes TM as saying the Club are 'hopeful' of making the signing but that he 'doesn't know' if it will happen.

The report states that the Club appear to be making slow progress with regards to raising the funding necessary and that TM will now step up preparations for the friendly against Hunslet (Jan 15) without Cooke.

An Offical Statement from the Club might be a good idea, not just press speculation !

I don't disagree that something from the Club would be helpful. However, it's not completely speculation when it contains quotes attributed to our Head Coach.

It may be interesting to know how long the one off contributions would pay his salary & then what has been promised monthly !

The one off payments could give a breathing space so to speak !

Well my analysis is this ..........
Sorry it's not an analysis, it's a guess ........
The one off pledges will keep Paul in work for about a week and the monthly ones will pay about 40% of his requirements.
So unless the club finds the difference ... he's toast.
But don't despair, I have been known to be wrong.
