iphone 3GS? Plenty of lower end Android phones will see you right for internet and facebook too.

I saw an ad for T-Mobile doing 3GS for free and £15 a month which made me think they will be going pretty cheap, sure you could get a used one from CEX or similar for a reasonable price

well im not really sure yet what to make my budget. at first i was thinking some where like 50-60 pound as i only want this phone really untill i can upgrade when my contract is up for renewal in august but looking at that link you gave me, it seems quite a decent phone for £100. Do you have any experience with it? ideally i would rather spend abit less but i need something quick and just want to have decent internet browsing with it but do you think this is probably the best i will find for the price?
I'll be honest with you. I've never used an Android phone! I just know they have a wide range and Samsung are pretty well known. I've kept touch screen in mind as you want to use Facebook etc
So I'd go with Rock Gods suggestion too. As that sounds like the kind of thing you'll be doing as a stop gap
