I don't. But then, it's nowt fresh for me to be in the dark.
Hudgell created the mess regarding Mason.Don't think Morgan wanted him really, but Hudg saw a commercial opportunity more than anything. To then get him over here and subsequently bin him off,due to Dobbo being fit,was nothing short of a farce, which tbf, most rovers fans agree with.
I'd use more generous language, but yeah it was a farce.
At the end though, when Tonga's administration broke down and the RFL wouldn't extend the Mason-Dobson dispensation (and fair enough), the club initially kept Mason in the squad - for the KC derby, iirc. It was only when it emerged that he'd been for his meeting in Toulon that he was de-registered. We'd painted ourselves into a corner by then - we couldn't have left Dobson out indefinately - so, in some ways Mason unintentionally did us a favour, for all that it was embarrassing at the time.
All in the past now, gotta to move on.

It could have worked and on paper it should have, the cock up was with the anticipated reregistering of Galea. Classic case of counting chickens before they've hatched. Yes it was a farce but reckon if I'd been in the same position I'd have tried it.

I wish him well, I just hope Rovers have learned from it as well, not a very glorious chapter in our clubs history.

The 'mess' was cleared up by Hudge but it was not of his making; also Justin Morgan put Mason's name on his wish-list and Mike Smith did the rest.

You're going to turn into one of those "I've Got A Secret But I'm Not Telling" people aren't you.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

It wasn't Hudge BTW. He just took the flack for it as the head of the organisation.

Another one. Pfft.

You know me though Sandra. I try not to post things I don't have proof of.
Now the fact I can't mention where that proof came from is another matter.
