I think it's high time we paid a tribute to Jonathan France and his company for their unswerving support of Wakefield Trinity!

How many years have they been our major shirt sponsor, 5/6?

During that time they've remained a reliable and constant sponsor and supporter of the club, they've done more than just pay for the shirt sponsorship too. They've provided funding for a number of other initiative undertaken by the club many of them without any publicity, they were behind one of our first season ticket drives a few years ago and they've used the Wildcats logo, cheerleaders and imagery on almost every advertising campaign they've done including giant posters in Leeds, Castleford and Bradford.

I know that Jonathan put his hand in his pocket on a couple of occasions to help the club stay afloat and it's common knowledge that he tried to buy the club on more than one occasion but he has never taken his ball home despite being unsuccessful. He's had his critics on here, some a bit out of order despite never having done anything but good for our club, yet discontinuing his support was never on the agenda. The RFL aledgedly deemed him 'unfit' to own a RL club and despite being disappointed again he was quick to throw his support behind Spirit of 1873 Ltd and Andrew Glover when he became our new owner.

The world is in recession, moneys tight and company's are fastening their financial belts ever tighter but Eric France & Son have steadfastly remained as one of our most stable sponsors throughout. On franchise decision day last year Andrew Glover & Martin Hopkins knew that Eric France & Sons were on board no matter what division we found ourselves in, I'm sure they weren't the only sponsors to show that loyalty but that kind of support allows the club to plan with confidence for the future.

I'm not in any way involved with Eric France & Son nor am I anything to do with the club other than being a supporter, so no alterior motives for posting this.

So...

Thank you Jonathan France for your support and sponsorship of my club Wakefield Trinity Wildcats!

Well said, enough of us are all too quick to complain when things are not great, but when somebody does some good you never hear of that. Thanks JF & Son!

They do seem to be a very loyal sponsor and I liked their posters, before they got banned; fair play.

Yep agreed. Even more amazing when you consider that according to the gossiping wally's on here he has been denied the chance to own Trinity on at least 27billion occasions by both Evil Ted and Glover the impaler.
