Ultimately it is your decision in the end, but I would look at work / life balance, then evaluate both companies. as previously mentioned in other posts, all jobs carry pressures and stress to some degree. I worked in the Travel Industry and had been a t the same company for several years, the compant was bought out by a London based company and we had upheavel for 14 months which caused me to become unsettled although I was advised I had a bright future with the new company I accepted an offer with a new company which moved into the area. In the five years the agency was opened my work /life balance improved considerably, my salary almost doubled, but in the end due to the present situation the office closed and I can't get another job after 30 years experience. So you pays your money and you takes your choice

Ive been with the same company for 18 years now and the thought of going back into the job market is a scarey one and hopefully one i never have to make.

no brainer really 7 grand rise and get your weekends back

Simple choice in my book, get a nice little runner for about 4k and even after insurance and that you will be on about what your on now but better hours.

Even if you haven't decided yet- give the best interview you can and if it's not what you want then turn it down; at least you will get the experience of doing the interview process.
