Capital Challenge - Friday 27th January 2012

Tickets here http://www.skolarsrl.com/club-shop/match-tickets/

London Skolars are delighted to announce the 8th annual Capital Challenge between themselves and Super League’s London Broncos RL (formerly Harlequins RL). Once again the match will be held at the prestigious Honourable Artillery Company’s grounds in the heart of the City of London.

The Capital Challenge is organised by Skolars, Broncos and the London RL to offer rugby league fans and newcomers to the sport a chance to experience an exhilarating and competitive match in a superb setting.

Skolars 2012 squad will include many of their top players from 2011 together with some exciting and talented new signings including Dave Williams, recently signed from Broncos. Many new signings from both clubs will make their debut appearance at the Capital Challenge match.

The two clubs share a very healthy and reciprocal relationship off the field and have a dual-registration system to allow them to mutually benefit from the capital’s best talent.

Skolars will be hosting a pre-match luncheon prior to the game. Guests will enjoy a delicious three course meal with wine served in the HAC’s Banqueting Hall and will be entertained by a guest speaker from the world of Rugby League before making the short walk outside to watch the Capital Challenge match.

Tickets for the match can be obtained by clicking here or phone the Club Office on 020 8888 8488 or email haideekramer@skolarsrl.com.

If you would like to attend the pre-match luncheon, please contact us for further details.

Just wanted to ask you elite skolar, why is such a potentially big match being played at a venue with a "limited capacity" and why is it costing £15!? Should have been played either at New River Stadium or the Stoop, with prices being half of what you're currently asking. A potentially massive day for London RL will now probably be played in front of a few hundred people...

not sure where u get your facts from but you are way of mark. this is one of our biggest crowds of the year and certainly the most lucrative, best media coverage and the setting is awesome. have you been?

Spectators can watch all the action up close from the touchline but places are limited so why not purchase your match tickets now - priced at only £15 + P&P

So which one of my facts is incorrect?

this is one of our biggest crowds of the year and certainly the most lucrative, best media coverage and the setting is awesome. have you been?

To this particularly ground or to this match in general? The answer is no to both, but I would go if I were in London at the time and if it were maybe 5 pound cheaper...

But you didn't answer my questions, why is it being played at this ground and why is it slightly over-priced?

(I'm not trying to undermine what you're doing here, I genuinely wish you guys success, but these are the questions that most fans will be asking when they read the story on your website)

sorry mate i wasnt talking about the price of the ticket i was talking about the game being at the best venue and also this being our best revenue event of the year. Therefore why would we play anywhere else. In fact when we played at New River the crowds were very poor.
