I know these are just ramblings of an internet poster but was wondering what would you do if you had the power to quell the boredom of the off season

A winter 9's tag tournament in the MEN, all SL and Championship clubs invited, and though it will be their mid season offer an invite to one Union club if they want to come.

It's a 21k capacity apparently, have it over a weekend so that you get 2 days out of it and and 42k potentially (as if like).

Maybe for an added extra each team could field a supporter, one of Wire's young under 18 lads as a reward and an ex player of the club on invite.

It's non contact so players could turn up to help keep their fitness up for the off season as it isn't that taxing on the body.

Maybe a Charity Match along the lines of the RU Help for Heroes game next Saturday. Would be a bit too similar to the Exiles match, but a game for Charity would be nice.

Ideally a SL vs NRL match which I'm told has been discussed numerous times, but is a long long way from becoming reality.

Merge with Sale Sharks and get rugby played all year round at the HJ stadium.

A game on the lines of the RL vs RU game, but RL vs Football. First half football, second half RL. Let's see how good these footballers are with Adrian Morley and Garreth Carvell running at them

How about mixed sports cage fighting, get every sport to nominate some hard men and put them all in a cage and fight each other for fans entertainment. Like celebrity charity boxing but without a good cause or any rules.
