If Rule had said Heremaia was coming to Hull, he didn't arrive, wasn't given a squad number but there was no official announcement FC would be on the end of accusations of not keeping fans informed and claims were were subject to "mushroom" communication methodology. Quite rightly so.
Until Rovers confirm otherwise, he's a Rovers player. Locking the thread would just look like trying to sweep inadequate communication and allegedly shabby treatment of a championship player under the carpet.
bit like hull saying burnett was surplus to requirements, then needing to make a top drawer signing so deciding he is no longer rubbish and offering him a contract. so a top drawer signing is made, as long as the top drawer is labelled A-B.

The point here is that Mike Smith made a song and dance about his signing but hasn't seen fit to officially report his binning off. Whereas at FC this was posted about binning off Obst: http://www.hullfc.com/newsarticle.aspx?n=19614 Short and to the point but keeping the fans up to date. Not difficult really, just basic courtesy to player and fans.

It's a bit plop but you're going to struggle to manufacture a scandal.

What a particularly stupid statement. why was he given a 1 year contract then? Were we just having a laugh with him? It would cost absolutely nothing to have put out 1 single line on the end of another story to say he had left the club, but our cretinous CEO has clearly thought otherwise, and relied on messageboard gossip to keep the fans informed. Poor.

All it would take was a paragraph explaining Rovers reasoning behind messing the guy around.
Terrible? Nah.
They might eventually get around to announcing that he isn't joining - or they might not (it's hardly a secret now is it?), which'd be a bit of a rubbish oversight. The reasons won't be given, though they are pretty obvious.
On the Mild Rover embarrasment scale it is a 3. For reference, trying to score points off it is a 3.5. Calling your teacher 'dad' is a 4.

6 pages on a player never to play in a rovers shirt, a record? anyway my Auntie is highly pleased her passion is going back to the eagles. Although Rovers have lost a season ticket if he had signed.

You all need to stop picking on poor Mike Smith, he's not very good at typing and he's still replying to my email from June, he replied to my initial one and said he would get back to me but he can only do one letter at a time the poor lamb.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.
