Alternatively, they could be invoicing on a self-employed basis or working on a temporary contract, until the assessment period is complete.
Despite what some people will have you believe, I'm sure there's a perfectly grown-up explanation.

Getting back on the sam obst thread, he was in the sainsburys on trinity walk and i heard a member of staff asking him if he was coming back to the wildcats for next season - he said nothing had been finalised yet??? does that mean he's on his way back as he didnt deny it!!
I would guess that Sam will only be coming if Tim Smith does not get a visa, especially if we have signed Paul Aiton as suggested on the other thread. Can't see where he would fit in if not.
I wonder what Andy Ellis is thinking now that Agar is planning on Paul Aiton being his main man??
WAKEFIELDTRINITY - ThePRIDEofSportingWakefield
THE DEFINITION OF INSANITY IS DOING THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER AGAIN AND EXPECTING DIFFERENT RESULTS

Hopefully he's thinking, "I'm going to play out of my skin every week and if this lad wants my jersey, he's going to have rip it off my back."
It looks like we're going to have competition for key positions next season - it'll take a bit of getting used to, but I don't see it as a negative thing; quite the opposite.

Was sat next to Sam in the middle of the wakey players during the 4 nations final and it would be wrong to comment on pub talk and stuff heard eavesdropping, but when I asked Sam outright he was noncomittal. Also spoke to Isaac and while he seemed totally bewildered by the pub atmosphere he seemed very keen to get started next season, seems a pleasant down to earth fella.Just for info, all the lads were a pleasure to chat to and showed the club in a very good light, especially the one who's behaviour may be under the most scrutiny. Was interesting to hear a players verdict on some of the calls though and some of their opinions on some of the players too ! lol.
Quote:Obst had looked set to return to Wakefield, where he played with Demetriou and fellow new Cougars recruit Michael Korkidas, but the proposed move fell through.
“It was disappointing what happened at Hull but all coaches have their own ideas when they come into a club,” said Obst.
“It’s just a hard time to find a club as squads have been put together by this time. I was on the way back to Wakey but that fell through.”
