It was mentioned a few times during the game about international rules, the most evident being when after an ozzie knock on we had a half break and because we passed it and knocked on lost advantage, in sl this would be a double knock on and head and feed to oppposition of first knock on, also, the carvell offload as held was called was a bit odd.
Opposite sides of the globe doesn't mean we cant play by the same rules surely?
They were playing by the same rules, the international ones (which by the way are far closer to English rules than Australian ones). I'm guessing what you want is the set of rules that allows England to win no matter what, right?

The rules are irrelevant if the ref is too scared to use them

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

at what point did i say that.
maybe, just maybe if we played by same rules that offload wouldn't have been forced and we'd have accepted a scrum on their ten. maybe score maybe not, it was just a thought ffs, i have no doubt we'd still have been solidly beaten
What do you mean "played by the same rules"? They do play by the same rules. They're called the international rules. But if you're suggesting that the international rules are the NRL rules you're way way off. The player who threw the pass plays in the NRL and the bloke who dropped the pass plays in the NRL, so what exactly are you whinging about?
The NRL is never ever going to stop making rules to suit the NRL competition. Why should it? RL only exists because of rules changes designed to make the game better.

OK. Just a thought ECT.
Same rules apply internationally to other sports that's all.

The NRL is a vindictive childish organisation that will punish any referee that gives decisions that it doesn't like
So what's the point if having rules ?
