From what I've been told he's straight down the line with folk and will tell them exactly how it is. Some people will be able to live with that others will possibly take offence to it. Can't see davey or wildie being pushed out, especially not permanently as they have been impressing agar with the way they are training. Sounds like there's going to be some more comings and goings with Higgins being released and keiran Hyde possibly going to ply his trade in France.
On another note just been reading Martin clawsons tweets and the fastest players on the hills were old timer motu tony wildie and Ellis just in front of Danny kirmond and for me another surprising one in Matt James! Sounds like the players are working their socks off and there seems to be some good banter going off between them all.
Changes were alwAys going to be made and obviously some players were going to be upset by these. I hope Moore gets a fair crack to prove his self as I thought he showed enough promise in the little I saw of him to show he could handle the step up to super league. For me we've got to give agar a chance he probably wasn't anyone kon here's first choice but he's here now and I don't see the point in bagging him before a ball has even been kicked, surely it's better to get behind him give him support and see what he can deliver.
For me Moore needs to spend a lot of time bulking up, he has the other elements of his game well under way but needs that extra bit of muscle on him- much like how Broughy changed form between being promoted with Cas and the end of his first year with us. I believe Moore does have potential at SL level & if nothing else I'm glad to have him in the squad.
Keep on training hard Moorey- prove em wrong!
Once a Sandal Wild Cat always a Sandal Wild Cat.
Some talk of Bradford Northern and some of Hull and Leeds Of Wigan and St Helens and such great teams as these Of all the teams in Rugby league with me you will agree The best team in the whole wide world is Wakefield Trinity!
We all have to get used to the many changes taking place and accept our new coaches ideas and methods wont please everybody, but the facts are, if we don't make those changes we'll never get anywhere. I for one haven't been excited about a forthcoming season in a long time and sense good times are on the way back. Good on Agar for getting rid of those not deemed up to scratch. He ain't stupid, he's not gonna let anybody go with more than potential, and after looking at the squad as a whole these last few weeks he'll know exactly where we are and who he wants to retain. We want winners at Wakefield Trinity and I feel that this new era dawning is going to create a winning mentality. If we aim high I believe we will achieve high, and what Agar has at his disposal now should ensure more than respectability. Let him use his coaching skills now to mould us into a team.
