- At hooker his passing isn't crisp

I think we should drop him from the international stage now and let the youngesters come through, Widdop ect........... in time for the World Cup. He's getting no younger at 31, as is Peacock, Morley and Westwood. Where do you think his best position is?

And he shouldn't be starting for England either.

I agree with what you say about positions - indeed I raised it in previous series. But the fact is he's one of our best players and the team would be weaker without him.

He's one of those players who is massively influential for his club side, but whose deficiencies outweigh the positives at international level.

I thought Sinfield brought a lot of organisation to the side and probably contributed to us looking more robust than in previous years. But he also took far too much responsibility over the attacking moves. His work in the 'red zone' was terrible and his inability to twist the knife and apply pressure cost us dearly. 8-8 just short of an hour and we had a set that starts in their 10. He threw a couple of shocking passes and the Aussies are off the hook and circling.
