He was better in 05 than 04 where Bai was better and Id challenge that he was the best winger in the league when there was the likes of Carney & Albert. He had deficiencies in his game which is why he made very few international appearances.
You might disagree but I don't see why it's ridiculous to even think it when Calderwood had limitations to his game and only excelled in one season. I honestly cannot think of a time when I would describe Calderwood as the best in the league since in my opinion there were at least a few better wingers around, maybe not as fast, but taking all skills into account I would describe them as better.
