You're right about Upper West. Good view but pants atmosphere. Felt almost at the front door of the party but couldn't get in.

Last night should prove to the RFL that Hull should host more "big headline" internationals in the wake of the Duffen era (that idiot had a lot to answer for). I'll be making sure I get my tickets early, in future.

We're not in the least surprised that you're looking for any slight thing you can slag a Hull player for

briscoe > welham by some considerable margin

Apart from the bickering about Briscoe I thought he was lucky to get away with stripping the ball away from the Kiwi in what was a 2 man tackle - he would have been pulled up if Henry Perenara had been refereeing.

I also thought Yeamo's pass to Briscoe (what a revelation that was) looked like an advert for RU - it was that far forward.

IMO Briscoe shows all the qualities of a centre and it won't surprise me in the least if Gentle doesn't switch him.

Briscoe does not play Centre for club or country so not sure how you can draw that conclusion.

Oh there you are, we have been waiting patiently for you to explain why Yeamo is not the best left centre in this city ?....of course if this is just your opinion that would explain your claim! however once being a commentator of the game I am sure you agree that you should back this claim with facts and stats.

Welham scores more try's and plays for the higher ranked club on the league ladder?

Actually they are not on a par at all offensively

Welham has scored 56 Super league tries in 89 Appearances
A strike rate of 63%

Yeaman scored 42 Tries in his first 89 Appearances
A strike rate of 47%
And his overall record in SL is 121 Tries in 226 Apps
A strike rate of 53.53%

Was the try table one you made up in your head :?:

That is normally how these forums work
Yes its my opinion.
So turning it round can you explain how Welham and Yeaman are 'on a par offensively'.

He's a centre playing on the wing due to him being young and relatively inexperienced. He's played all of his junior rugby at centre but like many 3/4's before him he's started his pro career on the wing

Jake Webster is still the best centre currently plying his trade in this fair city. End of argument.
