I think Sandercock will appreciate that early Feb when it is cold, wet, muddy and appauling conditions he'll give players a bit of time to get in to the thick of it. Joel is a dry weather player, we all know that and pointless expecting him to be a 1970's brute that could play in those conditions.

We have enough horses for particular courses so I think we need to ustilise them all and personally I wouldn't use Joel until around March even April in any great amount. Wheeldon would be suited to this type of weather and could lay down a platform for others to reach when their time comes.
