I have read that piece and it simply is not made clear what the next highest placed team means.
Their wording is too loose, too ambiguous.
The next highest placed team after what?

“These will be the Championship One champions, the play-off final winning team, the play-off final runners up and the next highest placed club in Championship One.'"
I am not criticising you weighman , I would just like some clarity.
They obviously knew what they meant to say.
But they haven't explained it properly with an example.
