While the rest of his team mates celebrated at the HJS he taunted the fans in the East Stand. He's really brave when he's on the pitch and protected by stewards. I hope he gets his comeuppance one day.

Well said John Wilkin! I've got a lot of time for that fella, he's always sticking up for the youg Saints lads, like a big brother or decent uncle. Wigan tried to bully a few of the younger Saints lads a few times this season and he's right there in the faces of the opposition giving it right back.
Bailey is bad for rugby league. He's actually a f*ck*ng clown! He did exactly the same thing after the last Leeds-Saints GF - with Lee Smith - the pair of them ran up to Kyle Eastmond and got right in his face giving it "YEAH! Whoo!" (Sky didn't say a dickybird about it!)
When Leeds lost to Melbourne in the World Club Challenge following this, at the end of the game Adam Blair ran up to Ryan Bailey and did exactly the same thing Bailey had done to Eastmond. It started a bit of a push and shove between the players. (Sky condemned Blair!)
I'm pleased Wilkin said this. Hopefully the England squad is a very uncomfortable place for that embarrassment to our sport, Bailey!

in fact, I know I take the mickey out of you Wigan fans (I know you are watching- you are like Gollum in the lord of the rings; always hiding in the shadows [ironically it is your ours this time]) but can you stick that on a big flag please. Pretty please. With a cherry on top. And sprinkles!!!

Right. Let's get this into some sort of perspective.
Bailey is a widge of the first order. He sums up all the bad things that happen in our game....thuggery, cheap shots, trying to wind up the opposition and crowd to excess, 'picks on' the more vulnerable members of opposition side....funnily enough, I've never seen him do it to Morley, etc, all this with being 'not very good' at the same time. I know this isn't patriotic, but I really do hope a particularly large Aussie/Kiwi 'sorts him out', and he gets suitably embarrassed. He might grow-up a touch.
But, can we take this seriously....it's come from Wilkin, FFS. The biggest crybaby I've ever known in our sport. Bleats all the time, when something doesn't go his/Stains way. A defeat is never his/Stains fault. It really is time for him to 'put a sock in it' and just concentrate on his rugby. As someone said earlier in this thread, when the England 'team' meet up in a few days time, Wilkin and Bailey's first contact may be a 'touch frosty'
to be fair im quite a fan of wilkin he is one of those players who puts in all the hard work and never gets noticed for it only this year he has been getting the credit he deserves, he leads that saints team he can play 6,7,11,13 hes a good useful utility player his kicking and tackling is really good ive watched him for a few years now and hes really come of age these last few years saints are not the same team without him and if you watch him he leads everybody around the pitch im sure he will shine in this years 4 nations would love to see him in a wire shirt one day

Yes , Wilkin is class. What i dont understand is how a thread is started about him telling the truth about Bailey has ended up as an assasination about how bad he supposedly is as a rugby league player.

I disagree eith you slightly. I like wilkin as a player. He is class (when he is playing) and never offends me. Wellens's arm waving or graham's dummy spits have been worse recently. Also if we think back to he annoyed anyone (the incestious pies) he waS spot on. Lima has displayed those self same 5hithouse tactics all year and wilkin was proven right.

Sleepy, you may be. Simple facts remain. Bailey is a 'bottom sausage' of the highest order. He doesn't have ONE redeeming quality as a RL player. He even has a thread of his own on the Leeds board, discussing how much of a turd he is, and many Leeds specs have washed their hands of him.
