Biggest irritations for me is WOMAN and MEN (wwww almost got shot by the PC cops). Who know bugger all about Rugby League or Union but yet in the works canteen spout total drivel as they know bugger all about Rugby. Had one in work today and i quote. "My husband says that NZ no.7 is always getting away with putting his hands on the ball and he should not do that".
FFS i replied that what he should do to which she replied well my husband says he cant. Her husband closest connection to Rugby is that he lives 3 miles from the local union ground. Bloody hate it when people come out of the woodwork and have no idea what they are talking about. Its been horrendous with the union World Cup on and i live in Wales so you can imagine the experts are out on a month release before they bugger off to talk about Strictly come prancing and X factor.
Why ohh why cant it be on subscription TV it owuld save me all this aggro from prats in work. Coming on here at least most of you know the game i work with only 1 other person out of 100 who knows union or league. i am doing my nut in work i am losing the plot all beacuse of
IRRITATIONS.
Bloody hell SL is over for 1 day and i am losing it. Going to be a long off season i feel.

The ridiculous hype STILL following Tiger 'flipping' Woods (especially by broadcasting stations in our country). In his latest tournament, with only one round to go, he lies a massive 9 shots behind the leader, with umpteen players above him on the leader board, yet we're still bombarded with news about his round. FFS, we have an Englishman in second place, and we've heard nothing about him. I wouldn't mind, but this is a tournament for players ranked outside the Top 50.

Come on, be brave. Just say it, never mind the PC Brigade.

I spent £500 on tiles last week the bloke in the shop said about 5 words to me never got out of his chair and barely looked up from his PC screen. when I picked them up two days later he wheeled the palet to the back door said "thats as far as i can go" dropped the pallet and went back in the Warehouse...!!!!
I spent £5 quid in Macdonalds got Please's and thank you's galore got told to enjoy my meal I swear they'd have blown me off I had bought an Apple pie...!!
it seems to me the more you spend the more contempt you are treated with...I wanted to spend £2000 on a fitted bedroom and I can honestly the say the bloke that came to measure up was THE biggest cock known to man he ended up wasting his afternoon and losing a stone wall guaranteed Sale by trying to be the big I am Salesman..
I quote the above post because I once bought a pay as you go phone for £120 quid in tesco and I must have been Wearing my Harry Potter Invisible cloak ...I was hardly acknowledge from start to finish and felt like I was inconveniencing the staff from the serious business of them staring blankly at the ceiling.
The appalling customer service in this county is amplified even moreso after a visit to America. Really winds me up when you are at the desk and the staff are talking to the people they work with, not engaging with the customer.
Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.

Problem is, you don't know why they're being like that. Some people are naturally rude, which is fair enough, but some people could just be having a bad day or could under a lot of pressure from the powers above.
Me personally, I expect nothing really other than clear communication and acceptable manners. I don't expect whopping smiles, thank yous or OTT excitement upon serving me, but if I pay cash, I want the money placed in my hand, not planted.

Bad customer service is bang on. Too many times, you go into shops/pubs/hotels etc, you get met a surly (usualy a teenager/v. early 20's) individual who 'greets' you with a grimace, if you're lucky. When I go into a pub/shop, I shouldn't need to stand for a minute, to wait for someone to finish their chat with their mate about last night's Big Brother evictee.
In the same breath, I don't want someone 'all over me, like a cheap suit',
Just someone who'll be pleasant, smile, and be ready (NicolaH..on my receipt, in C-Ex today, a great example)

Unless it's disgracefully bad, I have no care about customer service unless it's in a restaurant. Some of them people in Tesco have been sat there for 8+ hours going "Bags, clubcard, packing, thank you!", I'd rather just get out and avoid the conversation. I am biased though because my bird works there and all she does is moan about the mind-numbing 'drills' they make you do to pass their shopping tests.
Anybody that complains about anything other than horrendously bad customer service should get a grip.
