I'm sat in my front room in Norway watching the Grand Final live on Terestrial TV. NRK 2 which is the equivalent of BBC 2 are showing the game. Theyve been showing one game every weekend on one of their pay channels but the final is live on regular TV. Great for the game, spreading the word of the greatest game. Ive even got Eddie and Steveo! Guess I have to take the good with the bad.

That can only be good for the game and from what ive read and watch about the game in Norway its really getting a foothold over there which is great for the spread of the game

They're doing a great job of presenting it aswell. Explained a lot of the rules, really talking positively about the game. They've got one guy in the studio, a Norwegian who plays for Tromso and the Aussie guy who set up the Norwegian RL aswell as a presenter. The fact that it was a good firts half is helping aswell, great advert for the game.

The Norwegians are seeing one of the best Grand Finals... absolutely fantastic game

It comes to summat when the Norweigans can see the game on free-to-air while those of us too tight to pay for Sky have to Google it

Would be interesting to know what the viewing figures were like in comparison to whatever is usually on Norwegian TV on a Saturday night.
