I believe in documented facts over paranoid speculation, certainly. And if anyone can provide facts pointing to different conclusions, I'll happily change my views.
But when the responses consist purely of ad hominim crap, I can only conclude that these counter facts don't exist

Cynical maybe , but also right , if something looks , tastes and smells like a Bannana , the odds are it's a Bannana

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

That makes Leigh the expansion club! What will Starbug think?
I think that 8 out of 10 clubs in the Championship are from Yorkshire , which is not a problem as I enjoy visiting all those clubs

Can you provide a link to the RFL s findings of the ' investigation ' they were supposed to be doing ?
I don't recall seeing it

' Documented facts ' eh ? , is that what the RFL have used to find out what has gone on at Barrow ? , or is it because a disgruntled Australian ex player decided to spill the beans , conveniently once he was back on foreign soil and couldn't be asked to pay back the ' Tax ' he owes
At the end of the day , Barrow have been hammered , they have been hammered because they cheated , we all knew they were cheating , so how much evidence do you need
As for the Crusaders , well let's just say , it wasn't the club that was paying them , and the RFL are hardly going to ' investigate ' themselves ? Are they

TB is 100% right in what he's said.
The fact that people are struggling to argue using relevant facts and not speculation and hear say means they are resorting to slamming TB's opinion. It's a sign of losing an argument.

What a gigantic cop out. Don't even bother addressing that. You were wrong.
Quote:Then why mention the quota? And in particular why mention the quota which applied to most, but not all, of the other clubs in the league?
It is indeed. And unworthy of you to mention it.
Merely giving some perspective. I made clear the issue was about visa regulations not quotas.
Quote:Actually we can't. They were found guilty of no wrongdoing by the UKBA or the RFL.
Have you actually got any evidence of this? I've trawled the archives and found nothing. But it's your assertion, prove it. 6 players being deported because they didn't have the correct visas. Highly sloppy. And a vocal affirmation of an investigation by the RFL, which was never followed up.
And wellsy, you know I've got respect for you, but crawl out of his booty.

You'd think so reading some of the ridiculous post's on here! Glad tb explained the situation to gazwire though. I don't know exactly what's happened but it seems barrow have messed things up big style.
Funny how whenever a salary cap breach is made Wigan are the first club to be mentioned despite the fact that certain other clubs breached the cap long before we ever did. Obsessed?
