8 year ban!! Wow, did he snort coke off the grooves on the Championship trophy? That's a helluva sentence. They did become a really good side - I feel sorry for the Barrow fans.

Strange though isn't it Rich , this is the second time a club has risen rapidly through the leagues only to be found to have been ' Cheating ' , we all knew about both clubs , the RFL however seem to prefer to ignore what is plainly in front of them , as long as the club doing it has some ' value ' to them , ie a potential expansion club for SL
And yes I know Leigh were punished for ' Cheating ' as well , but as they say , the punishment fits the crime , ours was relatively minor and not deliberate

If you have evidence of another club persistently circumventing the SC over a number of years, then I think the phrase is: put up or shut up.

Is that the heavist penalty impose on a club without actually expelling them imposed by the RFL?
