I'm not sure that's true.

Of the players who departed whilst we were in administration, only one was sold by the administrator - the rest went of their own accord. That's my understanding if it, formed by reading the administrator's report, which you would assume is the truth.

The sale was agreed " in principle" with Hull FC before the administration and was concluded after the Administrators were appointed.

HTH

"Castleford's biggest home crowd of the 1991-1992 season wasn't quite 12,000 while on average they'd sit around 6000 but the noise, the chanting and the singing just blows you away" - Tawera Nikau "Standing Tall"

"I can tell you the atmosphere was extraordinary at Wheldon Road on big days. The ground held around 15,000 people, every one of them close to the action on the field and the noise would be enough to send a rumble through the town" - Malcolm Reilly "Reilly - A Life in Rugby League"

Why doesn't anyone want him back? He was a great player and if signed for another year would win quite a few MOM accolades IMO. Great tackler, good runs from dummy half and his support play is better than the tripe we displayed this season (to be fair we didn't break very often).

The Administrator sold both Obst and Ferguson to recoup their costs as the cupboards were bare, only Millard was not sold by them. How do I know? Peter O'Hara the administrator told me.

In short 100% every time but not good enough to play halfback and not big enough to play hooker I say let him stay on Hulls salary cap

pound for pound best tackler in SL, but his kicking game leaves alot to be desired. And for my twopenneth i think he did jump, and a player of his quality could have said "no" and waited to see what would happen as he would have been able to find a team to sign for in SL.

I very much doubt he will be coming. I spoke to him a couple of days back and he said the rumours were all a load of rubbish. He very much enjoys playing for Hull he said.

The administrator could only sell him if he wanted to go. He went, we have moved on it's a big no from me. As for the comments about him being great don't be soft.

He isn't a specialist in any dept and he's an aussie and knocking on a bit.
If we were in a similar scenario as we were at the beginning of this year now, then I would take him but were not. Were slowly developing and I'd be looking elsewhere and sam would be a last minute solution if we couldnt find anything.

He jumped ship and iirc he admitted so himself.
