My advice would be to you:

I go every year anyway, if you are booking your tickets through the RFL but book your tickets tonight for the South East Quadrient probably block E232 or E231 as you can't buy any other tickets online. These are good seats, I've been here lots of times watching Liverpool at United. As come tomorrow night after the game IF we win these tickets will go and you'll have none unless you want to be queing up at 7:00am Saturday morning for 4 hours at WolfWare.

the RFL are a money grabbing joke

I was in there for the Leeds vs Saints final a couple of years ago, they are good. There's no bad seats really, well apart from if you are in Tier 3.

I've just bought a ticket just in case, as I'm going to be out after the match so wouldn't be able to buy at 10pm and the scramble will be mad.

IF we win, I guarentee the site will crash at 10:30pm, better to pre book before.

Is the East the Stretford end?

No. It's the K Stand or Scoreboard End in old school terminology.
