This stadium is virtually the same inside and out
Except their 3 other stands are bigger than yours , their main stand is smaller than yours , they don't have standing , and their seats are blue , also the 3 smaller stands have different roofs to yours
So basically , nowt like the Barton stadium

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

I think he just means a similar style.
The mainstand at the new stadium is looking more and more impressive. The other ends are a slight disapointment but I guess Salford don't need a huge capacity. Still think the 15k option would have been more sensible though. Play-off final and a semi-final would add extra income along with internationals.

Sorry but very off topic but why don't you fukk off and annoy people on the Leigh board. Hint of envy in the fact that you have a nice stadium with a failing team playing in it.
Run along and get ready for the invasion of the Swinton idiots.

Took another ride round the stadium again today and the pitch looks like it's fit to play on already, that made me think as the Willows has the reputation for having just about the best playing surface in SL will the groundsman from the Willows be in charge at the new stadium or will the Council take over that side of things?.
A couple of other points does anyone know what color the seats are going to be? you'd naturally hope that's they are going to be red and as I read the other day that the council are looking at selling the naming rights any clues who it might be? got to think you can't look much further than BetFred though wouldn't mind betting that Peel look at it being so close to Port Salford and the TC.

The stadium naming situation has changed in the last couple of years , it was THE big thing a few years back , then the recession hit , but from your point given the location , it could be a massive plus for you , in fact it could ( providing the deal gives you a decent percentage ) be the main thing that will make Barton successful for you

Ive been told the the groundsman and the willows has been "transfered" to the new stadium employed by the stadium to look after the turf, he did a great job at the willows i never reaily found him to shake his hand and say well done he was probably hiding somwhere cursing all the players for ruining the his lovely grass He is probably loving the fact nobody is using his new grass right now so that why it looks so good.
I got told that the colour "red" was involved in the seating and they will be installed soon.....im not sure what colours go with red im sure some interior designer somewhere will have a say.
