If the internet had been around in the 1970's there would have been a similar statement from the then board. We then went out and signed a shed load of players, the key one being Mr S Norton. The next 6-7 years were brill.

We have new era now, new coach and new owner. God knows why people would want to continue to argue about Agar. People wanted rid but still bang on about him.

Well said...we have that many positive/exciting things happening who actually give a flying any-more! Whose Agar anyway

To be fair, on this occasion Standee made little more than a passing comment about Agar that would be long since forgotten had his knight in shining armour not felt the need to jump to his defence again.
