I think Rule might have a lot to answer over this,if he is in charge of contract negotiations,this seams to me to have handled appallingly,in the days of reduced quota places,all clubs will be focusing more on their youth systems,we need to be more pro-active,getting in there early and tying young players down to longer term contracts.
Isn't Rule related to the Hetherington's.(conspiraty theory)???

Correct. None of us know just how much freedom or responsibility Rule had under the previous owners - Pearson does. Maybe he's happy for Rule to continue with the commercial side of things given that McRae will have complete responsibility for pretty much everything related to producing results on the pitch. I'm happy that AP will make the right decision either way.
