“The chronic lack of cash investment in recent years has meant the club has fallen behind a number of their rivals, who in reality, with respect to the size of the club, crowds, the quality of the KC Stadium and the huge history and tradition that surrounds this club, should be nowhere near matching the success of Hull FC. This will now be immediately addressed and the attention required to achieve such status will now be given to all areas and aspects of the club without further delay.
“We will not accept a top eight finish as a barometer of supposed success at any point in the future whilst I am the owner of this club.
It's a great statement of intent and gives me further confidence that we are now in good hands.
I'm delighted to see Pearson state clearly that 8th is not acceptable - whereas previousy the club would be claiming a play off place was an achievement.

We know there has been false dawns before but we are going to invest now to ensure we have a real fighting chance as we build to the future. I understand your ongoing frustrations but with your continued support things will now change, that I can assure you."

Its starting to feel as exciting as the early 80s. The one thing that I hope this period has over the 80s is that I suspect the club will also be run financially sound.
Certainly everyone employed by the club will be in no doubt about what Adam expects. Failure I hope will not be an option.

Please don't wake me up from this dream!
Fantastic words and, unlike with the old regime, I actually believe he means it.
