I was discussing the new st helens saints stadium with a st helens supporter today and she said she thought the new stadium will be the best in super league. I disagreed.

Seen as there are more sts and wigan supporters on this board than wire fans, I would be eager to know what peoples opinions are.

So what will be the best stadium in super league next year?

I'm assured he can snort a line of coke the size of a Mecca dauber though.

Difficult to say what will be the best next season until I've seen Salfords and Saints.

But for now I've always liked Hulls stadium.

Hull's is likely to be the "best", but it's not my favourite. Wheldon Road is.

Best stadium, facilities wise is either Hudds, KC or Wigan however, they're football grounds.

My favoruite is Headingly. Great view of the action and always a top atmosphere.

Taking all stadium aspects into account... Location, accessibility, quality, atmosphere, etc. Wigan Athletics ground slightly edges Hudds Town/Giants for me.

Saints is in the worst location purely because the entire town centre of St Helens is in a sh*te location for rail links.

If they built the ground next to Junction station I'd have voted for them straight away.

Personally i dont believe wigan, hull or hudds should count as they are primarily football grounds, just my opinion.

What criteria makes a good stadium?

Being modern, close to stations, bus links, pubs, terraces?

Have i missed anything?

It's been fun.
