I'm happier with him appealing for a sin-binning than telling his players to do all they can to injure their opponents.

I find myself perplexed at that, a fan of a team with zero class says this.

Nowhere near as classy as Sam's finish.
The Autumn Wind is a pirate Blustering in from sea, With a rollocking song, he sweeps along, Swaggering boisterously. His face is weather beaten. He wears a hooded sash, With a silver hat about his head, And a bristling black mustache. He growls as he storms the country, A villain big and bold. And the trees all shake and quiver and quake, As he robs them of their gold. The Autumn Wind is a raider, Pillaging just for fun. He'll knock you 'round and upside down, And laugh when he's conquered and won.

Maguire's win-at-all-costs attitude is evident in every single thing Wigan do. He doesn't care what his players do as long as they win and in some instances I'd hazard that a lot of what the players do has been coached into them. Tony Smith is the complete opposite. Winning is good but he's far more interested in putting together complete performamces and letting the results take care of themselves. He would certainly never stoop to coaching the tactics that Maguire does. Hence the reason Tony Smith is respected by so many neutrals and Maguire isn't
