I'm also a big fan of Spaced - not to everyone's taste I know, but brilliant stuff.

Not a huge fan of American comedy but I thought cheers was pretty good.
Out of new uk stuff, you can't look past "inbetweeners", went to the pics to see the movie and that is just as good, also "not going out" is worth a watch.

I seem on to a the Dave TV channel forum.........fwiw funniest thing I have seen for ages was the wardrobe malfunction on the fashion show episode of The Inbetweeners. Absolute classic.

Yes I loved Spaced when it was on, liked Green Wing as well. Phoenix Nights is one of my favorites and still stick it one for a laugh.
Can't beat Keeping up Appearances as well, it's still funny. The Office was great as well and didn't make too many like the yanks have done with their version.
From the US, Eastbound & Down is hilarious. Another show I love which they hardly every showed in the UK was Trailer Park Boys, brilliant show.

What I find totally naff and predictable is something called mother browns boys I think, someone played me an episode the other week and I had heard a lot of people raving about it, what a pile of crud, saying that I thought the same about league of gentlemen the first time I watched it but ended up loving that.

Open all hours wasn't to bad either.

Whatever happened to the likely lads was also very good. If you watch it now it's almost social commentary.
