Wakey should steer clear of this head case, serious pub problems- pi££ head problems!!! and proved at bulls And quins he is an epic failure, wrong attitude, hard man act doesn't cut and just hasn't got what it takes to be a superleague prop.

Jeez this is getting tiresome, is no one good enough for us - do they all have to be Mother Terresa -give it a rest ffs. The moralising and judgmental nature of some on here is astonishing and considering it's done from the safety of anonymity not very brave either.
So he drinks a bit, he's a bit of a wally, he's not reached his potential HE'S 24!!! how many people at 24 were doing much better than that. It's about 25 when most blokes wake up one morning and realise they need to get it together, why is this boy any difference.
If we sign him give him a chance - for a prop he is a kid, if he fails we get rid - he's not a dog he isn't signed for life!
Can I just add that the following players all arrived with a similar wrap from the know all finger wagging brigade...
Richard Moore Danny Brough Oliver Wilkes Tevita Latu
or at other clubs
Shaun Long Leon Pryce Gareth Hock Martim Gleeson
all monumental kn*bbers but decent players in the end.
Again this lad will have a point to prove, is English and is still only 24. Moore had a point to prove when JK got him in for 07 and that went well. Why cant James do the same and become a good SL player?

He can, but we seem to want perfect players for lemonade money. Utterly ridiculous idea that some fans have as to our position in the food chain. People are now sneering at so called "project" players as if we have suddenly moved up into the elite of RL.
So he's failed so far, won't be the first or the last to rebuild a career at a new club after an "epic fail" we are told at his first. I'm realistic enough to believe that this lad in now unlikely to be of International standard but that doesn't mean he can't do a job for us.

Theres no doubt he has all the raw materials to make a good standard prop, its up to him whether he has the desire to make the most of his talent. Its probably his last chance to carve out a successful superleague career and if he wants it enough and applies himself correctly then he can make it work. I'd be happy to give him a year to see how he handles it. Lets be honest he isn't going to earning a fortune and we might just end up with a good player on our hands. If not, its no real loss to us.
